Hmm maybe it wasn't the coach...OK so Brett Fraud, I mean Favre forgot everything who knew about football after week 8 of the season and the teams demise was set in motion.
So know Woody Johnson and his GM Mike Tannenbaum are interviewing the usual suspects for the next victim...The problem with this is neither of them are football guys. Woody is a billionaire shampoo and band aid guy and Tannenbaum is a glorified CPA and lawyer..Neither would know a end around from a reach around.
So we Interviewed a college coach, who everyone knew wasnt going to get the job and he subsequently lost his current job for interviewing for it...The crazy part Boston college told the guy, if you interview your going to get fired and he still interviewed? I guess he wasnt a "Boston Guy"..
Next Steve Spagnuolo, defensive coordinator for the Giants. He is this years flavor of the month. He is the highest paid defensive coordinator in the NFL with a 3 year contract for 2 million dollars each year. Problems he runs a 4-3 defense, we just millions on 4-3 personnel and also he wants control over roster decisions, if thats the case who needs Mike Tannenbaum? So in my opinion Spags is not the guy...

Marty Schottenheimer? 65 years old, I think his best coaching days are behind him...But his son, why sure he is our current Offensive Coordinator and hell Brian did a great job with our offense this year..What? No we didnt make the playoffs..What? When Leon Washington touches the ball 5 or more times a game, we win 90% of the time, very interesting....How many times did Leon touch the ball in the last 3 losses? 4 times in all the games combine...Brilliant! So we are slow dancing with REX RYAN, Defensive Coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens. Rex Ryan just finished his 10th year with the Ravens in, his fourth as the defensive coordinator. Ryan was the only remaining Ravens' assistant coach from the 2000 Super Bowl XXXV season's record setting defense. Rex had spent 6 seasons as the Ravens' line coach. The problem with Rex, his team is still playing. They are in the playoffs, yes he has interviewed but we cant do diddly until he is done. This shouldnt be a problem for the Jets, be patient and give the man what he wants. Rex brings all the things the Jets need to actually compete for a Lombardi Trophy
