New Jets head coach Rex Ryan was introduced this AM, and instead of just rolling through the usual coaching platitudes, he said this:
"The players will have each other's backs, and if you take a swipe at one of ours, we'll take a swipe at two of yours."
Yikes! Threatening violence ... in football? Sounds like a great way to win over fans, and maybe get fined by the image-conscious NFL.
He was UNIQUE and GENUINE and had everyone in the room ready for some SMASHMOUTH FOOTBALL
